About the Business Center

The Tennessee MBDA Business Center is operated by The MMBC Continuum under the leadership of president and CEO, Jozelle Booker. The Center is a program funded by the Minority Business Development Agency under the U.S. Department of Commerce which is the only federal agency solely dedicated to the growth and global competitiveness of minority business enterprises. The Tennessee Center is part of a national network of centers across the country that serve as a portal for access to local, national and federal procurement opportunities and supportive resources.

Any Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) that is majority owned and operated by an African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, Native American, or Pacific Islander, is eligible become a client of the Center.

Tennessee MBDA Business Center

The Tennessee MBDA Business Center proudly serves minority-owned businesses across the state of Tennessee. Funded under the U. S. Department, our business center is part of the national network of MBDA Business Centers focused on the growth and sustainability of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). As the operator of the only economic development agency in Tennessee positioned to support the growth and development of minority firms, The MMBC Continuum will work in tandem with the MBDA Project Director and other strategic partners to deliver and provide proven programs, services, technical assistance and transformative resources.

The MMBC Continuum has successfully operated a MBDA Business Center since 2012 and worked with scalable MBEs to support the growth and operational efficiencies of their companies.
